How it worksIn order to qualify as an attorney-at-law in the State of New York, you must pass the New York State Bar Exam. The exam is held in New York twice a year in February and July. The bar examination is over two days.Day 1The New York section, consisting of five essay questions, 50 multiple choice questions and one Multistate Performance Test question. Day 2The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), consisting of 200 multiple choice questions.
