animation

postgraduate taught programmesanimation overview programme structure and content staff facilities careers and fomer students application MA/MFA Animation All animation starts as a figment of somebodys imagination. The challenge is to transfer it from the minds eye onto a screen, so that other people can see it. We think the best animation students are the ones who are excited by the world around them, the ones who see possibilities in the most unpromising of starting points, the ones who are bold and adaptable and who can tell a good story with visual and narrative excellence. Animation at Edinburgh College of Art reflects the medium itself: elusive and hard to pin down, with a love of the unexpected and unconventional. One of the strengths of our department is its location within an art college, which demands a creative studio approach to cutting-edge narrative animation. The department has resources that enable students to create work of a high professional standard. Di ... (Training Available by Edinburgh College of Art) animation
